Reserve Road Overpass - Architectural Features
DemCox has designed the steel frames for the new architectural features for the Reserve Road Overpass as part of the Lane Cove Tunnel project.
Each of the 6 stainless steel frames was manufactured, fully assembled and clad off site. Each individual piece was transpoted to site seperately and lifted into position. The joints were clad on site.
The off site fabrication has the advantage that no scaffold will be needed on site and therefore no valuable construction space will be blocked.
